Power Outage Update For Oregon Coast

Pacific Power continues to fix electrical service for customers hit by severe weather along the Oregon coast and surrounding areas. The high winds have caused lots of hazardous conditions like trees through lines and lines that are down. As of 8:30 am on November 20th about 2,451 customers are without electrical power which is down from 24,000 the night before. Pacific Power has all of their crews that are available with restoring service as quickly and safely as possible. The crews are continuing to work throughout the day. They believe power will be restored to most of their customers by early afternoon.

The Central Lincoln PUD says as of 10:00 am that crews are making repairs from Lincoln Beach to Newport. Fishing Rock and Lincoln Ave have power again. Yachats and areas to the south, including the Adobe have power restored. Tree crew are working on 4th street tackling downed trees. Siletz and Toledo crews are assigned to the area today working on Yasek Loop. Old River Road and Fred Taylor Road have power again. Toledo crews are working on Clark Loop and replacing the pole at 8th and Fir. Waldport crews will be fixed a broken power pole at Waldport Heights today. Weakened trees are still coming down causing more power outages. Call 1-866-484-3783 to report a power outage.
