Our long grain white rice is a great product to have on hand. White rice is the universal grain that can be used in every meal. White rice is used throughout the world so you can make your favorite dish and travel the world through food. Combine with beans to provided a complete protein. White rice can be used to make your favorite soups, stews, casseroles, or fill up your favorite burrito. White rice is great to have on hand for those that may be gluten intolerant. This is a must have for your long term food storage.
Packaged in a 5 gallon bucket with a mylar bag containing the rice along with oxygen absorbers inside the bag.
Ingredients: Long grain white rice enriched with iron, niacin, thiamine. (ferric orthophosphate), (thiamin mononitrate) folic acid. Naturally gluten free product.
Shelf Life: Should be stored in cool place. Optimum condition is 60 degrees or less for longer storage. Storing properly in our enameled cans and Super pail buckets, product may store 30 years.
Recipe:
1 cup white rice
2 Tbsp. Tomato Powder
¼ cup dehydrated green beans, ¼ cup dehydrated sweet corn, ¼ cup dehydrated garden peas (or use your favorite dehydrated vegetables)
3 cups water
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Put vegetable oil and rice in a 12-inch frying pan. Fry until rice is brown. Add water and salt and boil for 5 minutes. Add tomato powder and mixed vegetables. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes on medium heat or until water is absorbed and rice and vegetables are tender.
Packaging: Food is packaged in a large mylar bag with oxygen absorbers inside a 5 gallon food grade HDPE bucket with a gasketed lid.
